DuplicateIt on DVD

Replication is the process of moulding or "pressing" discs from a master. The process is high speed and lower cost than duplication and is suited to those production runs that have 500+ in size and have 8-12 days production lead time.

These are the discs you would be familiar with in a retail setting.

Because DVD replication is a moulding process from a physical stamper - technically they are a more robust copy than a duplicated DVDR, as the geometry of each and every disc is identical.

Fast with enormous capacity

Our DuplicateIt services utilises the the production infrastructure of replication facilities in Australia and in major centres around Asia. This is important for a few reasons:

Capacity: Utilising multiple plants give us the capacity of millions of discs per month.

Logistics: Delivery flexibility - no matter where you need your discs delivered more than likely we have a plant located nearby that will minimise the logistics costs on your replicated DVDs.

Speed: Different plants have production capacities that vary on the various disc types. Using plants with high capacity on your disc type for your product will speed up the process.

As a general guide here are some of the turnarounds that you can expect:

Print Options

Offset print: This is the same process, as full colour print that you may be familiar with when printing on paper, albeit adapted for printing on discs.  This is perfect for full colour graphics and for colour matching to your full colour paper parts.

Spot Colour print: These are colour accurate inks mixed to specific formulas to ensure accurate emulation of your artwork. These are particularly great for solid colours that can tend to vary with offset printing.

Offset + Spot Colour: Using 6 colour presses allows us to combine the 2 processes within the one piece of artwork giving you the best of both options.

Other effects: The use of metallic inks, punching out the white base to utilise the silver substrate of the disc or specifying the using of gold metallisation are just some of the designer effects that you can achieve.
